THE OPPORTUNITY
  
A rare opportunity exists for an experienced senior finance leader to join a highly successful global organisation operating within the chemicals and industrial services sector.
  
This business operates internationally across multiple regions worldwide; however, this particular role holds responsibility for the APAC region, including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Shanghai and Tokyo.
  
Reporting to the Australia-based Group Commercial Director, with a functional reporting line to the UK-based Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role will lead finance operations across the APAC region and manage a sizeable regional finance structure, including direct reports across both ANZ and Asia.
  
This is an incredibly senior role with genuine influence across the business.

Key responsibilities include:  

• Leading finance operations across the APAC region
• Driving financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning
• Partnering closely with senior operational and commercial leaders
• Leading and mentoring finance teams across multiple countries
• Supporting business growth and operational improvement initiatives
• Providing commercial and strategic financial advice to leadership teams
• Managing relationships across diverse international business units
• Occasional regional travel throughout APAC    

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND
  
To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally bring:  

• CA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA qualifications
• Significant senior finance leadership experience within a multinational organisation, including responsibility across multiple APAC countries and jurisdictions
• Strong capability across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial planning and governance
• Experience leading regional finance teams within complex multi-site or multi-country operations
• Exposure to ERP implementation, finance transformation, acquisitions or business improvement initiatives
• Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, engineering, chemicals, gases or related sectors would be advantageous
• Willingness to travel across the APAC region as required

• Base salary circa $250,000 base + superannuation (negotiable)
• 25% performance bonus structure
• Guaranteed Christmas bonus equivalent to one week’s additional pay
