Our ClientOur client is a successful and much-loved hospitality business that took one of Australia’s favourite meals, added a healthy twist, and created an iconic restaurant brand. Since opening their first venue in 2004, the business has continued to grow steadily across Melbourne and now operates 16 venues with a workforce of more than 400 people.
With a busy Head Office environment, the business is now creating a new Office Administrator role to support the continued growth and day-to-day operations of the organisation.
About the Role
This is a newly created Office Administrator / Office Manager position based at Head Office in Port Melbourne. The role has been designed to support multiple functions across the business, including management, accounts, marketing and operations. It is best suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in keeping things organised, and can comfortably move between different tasks and priorities throughout the day.
You will play a key role in keeping the Head Office running smoothly, supporting managers as needed, handling general administration, and ensuring a positive experience for customers, visitors and internal stakeholders alike. No two days will look the same, and flexibility, initiative and a can-do attitude will be essential to success in this role.
What Are We Looking For
We are looking for a versatile and dynamic administrator who enjoys being a true jack of all trades. You will be someone who is comfortable jumping between responsibilities, supporting different managers, and adapting to what the day requires.
This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes genuine satisfaction from helping a business run well behind the scenes.
You will bring at least two years’ experience in an administration or office support role, strong capability across Microsoft Office, and a working knowledge of basic accounting data and administrative practices.
Just as important is your approach to work. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a natural focus on customer service will set you apart.
Rewards and Benefits
This is a full-time, onsite role based in a beautiful, light-filled office in Port Melbourne, working Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The salary on offer is $75,000 plus superannuation.
