The Opportunity
  
As they expand, they are seeking a motivated Assistant Farm Manager to oversee day-to-day farm operations. This is an ideal role for someone looking to step into their first leadership position, with onsite training and mentorship provided by experienced Farm Managers and Assistant Managers.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Managing daily farm operations, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare
  • Monitoring environmental conditions in poultry sheds to optimise bird health
  • Supervising and mentoring a team of Farm Hands
  • Addressing general maintenance issues as they arise
  • Ensuring accurate daily reporting and responding to farm alarms as needed
  
What We’re Looking For
  • A background in animal husbandry or livestock management would be ideal
  • Strong IT and computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel, with the ability to operate farm management software, monitor automated systems, and reporting
  • A valid driver’s licence and physical fitness for hands-on farm work
