The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join the team. In this highly transactional role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the smooth operation of daily deliveries by managing payables for a business with significant freight volumes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing a high volume of supplier invoices promptly and accurately.
- Reconciling accounts and ensuring discrepancies are addressed.
- Managing payment runs and liaising with suppliers as required.
- Assisting with end-of-month reporting and general accounts payable administration.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience in accounts payable, ideally within a fast-paced or high-volume environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
