THE ROLE:
  
The purpose of this role is overseeing the safe and efficient loading of temperature-sensitive goods, ensuring proper handling and storage to maintain product integrity during transit. This role involves coordinating with warehouse staff, drivers, and dispatch teams to organise the loading schedules, verify shipment documentation, and ensure that all loads are secured according to safety regulations.
  
The supervisor must also monitor compliance with food safety standards, refrigeration requirements, and industry-specific guidelines, while troubleshooting any loading issues that may arise.

REQUIRED SKILLS
  
We are seeking candidates with a background in Transport/Logistics.

You will also require experience checking inbound or outbound goods, recording information regarding the shipment of goods, allocating work and supervising the loading and unloading function.
  
Additionally, you should possess:

• Must have freight loading experience specifically rear door loading
• Must have experience in cold storage and refrigerated trailers 
• Prior experience in a supervisor role
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential 
• Forklift licence 
• Genuine commitment to the importance of your work, ensuring both timeliness and precision
