ABOUT THE COMPANY
  
Our client is a well-established Melbourne-based electrical, mechanical and building services contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering commercial projects across manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, food production and infrastructure.
  
With a portfolio of more than 50 live commercial projects at any one time, they are seeking an experienced Project Administrator to become an integral member of their project delivery team.  
  
This is a hands-on role that will see you involved in every stage of the project lifecycle. From project setup and contract administration through to compliance, invoicing, project close-out and archiving, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects run efficiently while allowing the Project Managers to focus on delivery.
  
No two days are the same. One day you might be coordinating project onboarding and compliance documentation, the next organising travel for site teams, managing project claims or ensuring final documentation has been completed before project handover.
  
ABOUT THE ROLE
  
This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in every stage of the project lifecycle, from project setup and contract administration through to compliance, invoicing, project close-out and archiving.
  
Working closely with the Director and Project Managers, you will coordinate the administration that keeps projects running efficiently and ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
  
No two days are the same. One day you might be setting up a new project and coordinating client onboarding, while the next you could be assisting with project claims, organising travel for site teams, maintaining compliance documentation or preparing projects for final handover.
  
ABOUT YOU
  
You are an experienced Project Administrator, Contract Administrator or Project Coordinator with experience in the commercial construction industry.
  
Ideally, this experience will have been gained with an electrical contractor. However, we will also consider candidates from mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing or other building services contractors, or Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3 commercial builders.
You are highly computer literate and embrace technology. You quickly pick up new systems and are confident using project management and job management software such as Simpro, AroFlo, Acconex or similar platforms.
  
You are highly organised, thrive on juggling multiple concurrent projects and take ownership of your work. You are proactive, persistent and known for following tasks through to completion. Most importantly, you do not let tasks fall between the cracks.
