Description
The Company:Our client is an electrical company that specialises in mechanical and electrical controls. They undertake a range of electrical, building automation and maintenance services across the commercial, retail, telecommunications and education construction industry.
The Role:
As the Project Administrator, you will play a crucial role in assisting the project team to manage projects from inception to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Project administration assistance to the management team
- Contract management, site documentation and project management support
- Assisting to maintain OH&S and compliance systems
- Travel bookings and co ordination
- Administration planning, coordination and scheduling
- Updating and maintaining internal databases, including personnel and onboarding client records
- Assisting the in-house accountant with financial management of projects and invoicing
- Data entry of staff timesheets and documentation
- Equipment purchasing and management
- Assisting with reception when required.
What Are We Looking For?
To excel in this role, you should have:
- We are seeking candidates with a strong background in the construction and building industry, preferably with previous work experience with builders, suppliers, trades or manufacturers of building materials and products.
- A good working knowledge of project management programs, highly desirable Aroflow or Simpro, you will also need good IT skills generally with good Microsoft knowledge.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written with good attention to detail. You'll need to present information and respond to inquiries from managers, sales teams and clients.
