About the Company
Our client is a thriving poultry farm located in Anakie, Geelong, responsible for raising 16 million birds annually across a network of 8 farms. They are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of farm operations.
 

The Role
As the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all farm operations comply with established growing policies and procedures, meet client grower contract obligations, and adhere to RSPCA growing accreditation standards.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating with farm managers and directly supervising farm activities.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for specific contractors and suppliers.
• Managing daily operations to ensure efficient and effective farm performance.
• Scheduling of staff.
• Maintenance scheduling of all fleet consisting of up to 100 cars, trucks and machinery across 2 farm sites.
• Cost efficiency reporting on the fleet management.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in supply chain, agricultural, or manufacturing operations management.
• Experience in Fleet Maintenance and Management
• Strong understanding of compliance and safety regulations.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT skills.
