The Company:
Our client is a prominent manufacturer of high-quality commercial-grade doors and frames, boasting a successful trading history spanning over 30 years.
  
With factories located in Lilydale and Campbellfield, they produce and distribute a wide range of products, including fire-rated swing and slider doors, acoustic and escape doors, as well as routed, solid, or semi-solid doors. Frames are manufactured in both timber and pressed metal.
  
Clients consist exclusively of Tier 1, 2 & some Tier 3 builders who work across a wide range of commercial building types, no residential projects. 
  
The Role:
As an Estimator, your primary responsibility is to calculate the costs associated with manufacturing, delivering, and installing doors, frames, and related products. Key responsibilities include doing take-offs, preparing detailed cost estimates, submitting competitive quotes, advising customers, and ensuring financial project viability.
  
What Are We Looking For?
To be selected for this role you will require the following: 
  • Previous experience in the building industry working as an Estimator
  • Previous experience estimating timber products (ie joinery, doors, frames etc)
  • Previous experience doing take-offs from architectural plans
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills  
You will also require excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as this is a client-facing role. You'll need to present information and respond to inquiries from managers, the sales and project management team, as well as clients and other stakeholders.
