The Role:
The Project Engineer serves as a vital member of the project management team, providing essential technical expertise and support across all phases of engineering projects. They collaborate closely with project managers, design engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless planning, execution, and completion of projects.
  
The Project Engineer plays a critical role in coordinating project activities, managing resources, and facilitating communication between different stakeholders. Their adeptness in managing resources, solving technical challenges, and mitigating risks is essential for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
  
What are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced and established Project Engineer with a strong working knowledge of mechanical and/or welding systems or a related field. Coupled with a proven track record in project management planning, analysis, compliance and coordination.
  
The key selection criteria:  
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in mechanical engineering, project management, or project engineering.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field).  
  • Strong technical background: Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices.  
  • Proficiency in project management software: Ability to effectively utilise tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera and AutoCAD.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.  
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
