Our client is a privately owned cold storage, blast freezing and refrigerated transport business working across the food and beverage sector.

THE ROLE:
  
The purpose of this role is to oversee the safe and efficient loading of temperature-sensitive goods, ensuring proper handling and storage to maintain product integrity during transit. This role involves coordinating with warehouse staff, drivers, and dispatch teams to organise the loading schedules, verify shipment documentation, and ensure that all loads are secured according to safety regulations.
  
The supervisor must also monitor compliance with food safety standards, refrigeration requirements, and industry-specific guidelines, while troubleshooting any loading issues that may arise.

REQUIRED SKILLS
  
We are seeking candidates with a background in Transport/Logistics. Individuals in this role are responsible for checking inbound or outbound goods, recording information regarding the shipment of goods, allocating work and supervising the loading and unloading function.
  
Additionally you will also require: 
  

• Must have freight loading experience specifically rear door loading and refrigerated trailers
• Prior experience in a supervisor role
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential
• Forklift licence
• Genuine commitment to the importance of your work, ensuring both timeliness and precision
