When you think about how much time and money businesses spend, not only recruiting staff, but also inducting and training them – staff attrition that early in the employment relationship is very expensive.

We genuinely believe that if recruitment is done well, attrition during the probation period should be low – certainly not more than 5%.

We are really pleased and proud, that 100% of our candidates passed their probation in 2020.

We believe the key to hiring high performing staff is ‘cultural fit’. Just because a person has the skills, experience and qualifications to do the job, it doesn’t mean they will. A cultural misalignment can have a dire impact on the employment relationship.

We believe that you can hire the most highly skilled and experienced candidates in the country; but if their values, conduct and behaviours don’t align with your company values, there is a good chance they won’t work out.

We take the time to really get to know candidates and quite often the best way to do this is over a cup of coffee. Unfortunately face to face coffees weren’t possible in 2020, but that didn’t stop us meeting candidates via video, talking over the phone and really working to understand what makes them ‘tick’.
